The holy trilogy is only missing a bit of an Adam Curtis voice-over: "This is the story of how a radical group of clown school drop-outs took over a small country on the western edge of Europe.. etc... etc.. "
We badly need our own Curtis. Imagine what a filmmaker like that could do with access to RTE's archives from the boom years. If RTE allowed such access of course, which they wouldn't.
Ah that's harsh - give it another 5 years and "Reeling in the years" will apply its cutting edge presentation and incisive comment to those wonderful 'boomier' memories.
